Eclipse

Long ago read poem
-romantic

Great was part of it:
- "You see hair and I curl;
-You see an eyebrow, I, signal."

Poem was treasure
-short, small, rich content

It was a telescope to space
- "I see her different.", "Am in love."
- "You only see surface.", "You are dumb."

Today heard Don speak
-he knows of eclipse
-and has seen
- (least, sixteen)

He spoke of Sun, Moon
-as poet of his moon

"What is Sun when Moon comes?
-blocks path of the light! ! !

Don talked of Umbral
-the path of Moon's shadow
-as poet talked of curl, and signal

"Moon's shadow, which is dark
-umbral, sweeps well
-covers the Earth's face."

The "Path of Totality"
-as he said was holly
- "In the past was fear, God, pray;
-now we know…admire! "

Don sounded like poet
-Johann Strauss, I could hear
-while watching "Blue Danube"
