Edge Of The Ocean Poem by Cody Marks

Edge Of The Ocean

Rating: 3.5

My feet kiss upon the sand's grains
Foam feels ever so cool
Only a tender memory's wonderful gain
Such majesty a golden rule

Sweet breezes of salt consume
Tasting only endless dreams
Nature's endless divine perfume
Drives a sea captain mad it seems

Visions of the everlast
Fill the deepest void within
For this may wither and not last
Forever my soul such has driven

Dancing among children in the sand return
Only laugher and fading memories
Lose my only prejudiced discern
And find only joy's golden keys

Hold my dreams forever
Upon Neptune's very edge
Wash away the nay and never
And to the future a joyous pledge
