God, help me learn
rather than earn
my daily bread

You gave me a good brain
it's really yours
jesus bought all of me
even the crazy parts

i like learning
learning tastes good

give me that curious food
learn what really matters
my brainy needs
enjoy the planted mental seeds

pass the treasures on
other minds to feed

learning is fun
inspired by your intelligent Son
experiences too
discussion with other open, hungry minds

God, grow us good!
a hungry learning attitude

use what we learn
to better our world
like a blossom into a flower
magnificently unfurled
