Edward - Poem by Edward Kofi Louis
The man i love is called Edward and,
He will saddle his donkey together with me;
Because true love has no barriers.
I am on the sweet path of love with him always and,
I will give my valley of love for him to eat;
For my sweet food of love is always prepared to him like,
His sweet tree of love.
As white as snow,
As black as coal,
As red as blood,
Like the rivers Abanah and Pharpar of Damascus;
And he is all that i rest my sweet heart on.
