Ego System Poem by gershon hepner

My virtues make a healthy ego system.
In case you do not know them all, I'll list them:
I'm handsome, kind, intelligent, and good
and do the sort of things that people should
to have an ego system that is healthy,
but what I lack, a system to be wealthy,
depresses me because my ego system
had many chances, but each time it missed them.
In case a better system comes around,
inform me of it, please. I can be found
just west of Beverly and south of Pico,
where each day I keep working on my ego.
