Ocean warms, a gentle sigh,
Pacific breathes, beneath the sky.
Scientists watch, with careful eye,
A change is coming, by and by.
This El Niño, a strong might,
Could shift the weather, day and night.
Droughts may scorch, or floods take flight,
Heat will bake, with burning light.
Crops may fail, a hungry fear,
Across the world, the impacts near.
From distant lands, the signs appear,
Human worries, crystal clear.
How strong it is, we cannot say,
But past events have shown the way.
Nature's power, holds its sway,
We must prepare, for this new day.
Governments ready, hands extend,
To help and comfort, without end.
Tracking changes, we depend,
On what the ocean currents send.
