Election Ruckus Poem by Panagiota Romios

Election Ruckus

Oh, Lord, it's the biggest game in town.
I need large cotton balls to drown their ignominious sound.

For in the atrocious race to run this land, lies are produced by media
and quite deceptive ads.
Meanwhile our freedoms and Constitution are buried under
wet sand.

Be indeed, very proud, don't let this happen to you.
Honor God, the unborn and the least of us, too.
