Elise Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Elise

A walk through Damascus! !
And like the words from a Vodoo Priestess;
Destruction! !
Dead Bodies seen around.

Where are you my lover? !
I am Elise and, i am here to take care of you.

The directions,
Searching for your house,
A walk through Damascus! !
Even at night;
The moon stood up to listen to my muse.

Where are you my lover? !
A walk through Damascus;
Still searching for you.

Seal of love! !
To heal you with the truth;
Real deal!
With righteous morals;
A walk through Damascus.

Oh! ! Where are the roses of Damascus? !
Your sweet aroma,
I am Elise and, i am here to take care of you.
