Her eyes shine like she has a secret
That only she's aware
Beautiful and dangerous
She'll take any dare

If you tell her she is wrong
She'll argue till she's blue
With facts and brains and knowledge
Till you're left without a clue

But when she's crossed a line
When she knows that she's mistaken
She'll tuck her tail and apologize
Her pride all forsaken

When I have a real bad day
She's there with bowls of ice cream
She listens like the friend she is
While I rant and steam

But even she's not perfect
Even she has flaws
She can be insensitive
And snap without cause

But I love her anyways
Because she's always by my side
Whether we're dancing or crying
I claim my sister with pride
