Elum Thecome Delahora Poem by Baaz Monk

Elum Thecome Delahora

Elum techome delahora:
“Elume de, elume Dora”.

(A poem of departure)

Gliding along my inner soul,
I sense much turmoil and much peace.
Leaving again the shores I’ve reached-
Searching the islands in the sun.

Me, Mine, and All I have,
Repeating egos of Myself –
Are all they’re seen
To grinded eye.
The nex unfols, behind, again,
And rushes speed inside my mind.
……………………………………………………

Behold thyself from spheric angle.
Inside (outside) thy eye.
……………………………………………………

I’ve swam the waves of mind itself.
I’ve surfed my thoughts, and dived my fears.
I’ve tripped, and, sometimes, even tranced.
I’ve burnt the fire of my feelings, then watched-
As the flames danced.

Today I leave again this rest,
Which I have never had at all.
I go again, towards my call,
Always so far beyond…
