To Pal Poem by Baaz Monk

To Pal

In the night of haunting sorrow,
In the darkened time of worry,
Send I so my spirit further
To my Pal's day of tomorrow.

Reach I so with unseen fingers
Grasping to caress his wounds,
With the sightless eye of knowledge
Search I so into his thoughts...

Pal, Pal Takats,
Champion of clear skies,
Where does your spirit travel,
In those turmoil, weakened times?

Cruising through the realm of God-ness,
Purgatory of the soul,
Do you gaze towards the Heavens,
Or the long way to back Home?

Is Eternity's light brighter,
Or the flame of human hearts?
Would you go up to the Heavens
Or the arms of your Loved Ones?

Let it be your choice of greatness
To forever charm our minds.
With thy memory of excellence,
Or the warmth of your hands!
