Elusive Poem by Viola Grey

Elusive

Rating: 4.1

Elusive, sweet soul -
call to me.
Dangerously close
to black skies
I fly my heart.
Catch me, cradle
soulless dreams.
Fragile hands
hold broken hearts
too close, too tight.
Shaking, nervous,
reaching for you -
I kneel.
I surrender.
Towards blue light
I stumble.
Could love captivate?
Eyes drown?
Words hypnotise?
Should love conquer fear,
you will always
be mine.
