Elusive Barriers - Poem by Neran Sati

The sea was painted metal
Sullen clouds, but looking down
Then mingling shades of grey
Round glowing route to sun.

And sparkling path to glory
- assuming firmer ground,
Could be darkened, likewise
By just a tiny cloud.

Topic(s) of this poem: glory, nature

Excellent poem. The path of righteousness can veer-off suddenly by something unexpected. Your poem is succinct and powerful- -a terrific combination. Spellcheck: change 'darken' to 'darkened.' (Report) Reply

Thanks Brian, the idea came to mind while swimming on that route: -)
