Emotions come in ripple, vast & wide.
Like the oceans that we ride.
I try to conceal, I try to flee,
But they always find and capture me.
They are like a leviathan in my mind,
A demon that I can't bind.
They haunt me in my darkest hour,
And leave me feeling without power.
They are like a weight upon my soul,
A burden that I cannot control.
They twist & turn, they make me weak,
And leave me feeling so unique.
They're like a vision that I can't explain,
A picture that is hard to be strain.
They come & go, they make me feel,
And leave me wondering what is real.
But still I try to find some light,
To push away the darkest night.
For through my emotions may be hard,
I know that I can find my God.
