Empathy is the power of understanding others and is a marvellous gift to have indeed
It is a near relative of compassion and humanity of more of the emphatic in need
One with empathy is one who has compassion for those in life who have been doing it tough
They feel sympathy for the poor and the hungry the people who are living and sleeping rough
Those with empathy are people of good nature and to help others often go out of their way
So full of generosity and kindness they sow the seeds of good karma every day
It is a gift some people are born with at least this is how it does seem
Those who have empathy in them never suffer of over inflated self esteem
I do know of a few who have empathy they they are marvellous people of to know
They are such kind and generous people my admiration for them does only grow
But that they are not of the many is only a sad thing to say
There are so many quite self centered people in the Human World of today
Those who have empathy have compassion for people in life doing it tough
The hungry, the poor and the homeless who are jobless and living and sleeping rough.
