Emptiness - Poem by Asha Adeana

The feeling of emptiness
Right where my heart should be
Now I feel
Like I am not here
I have no life
Something that takes no form
A shadow that walks alone
No one sees me
No one care
Might as well not be here
In this world
My saver is
Death
Darkness is my best friend
Fear is my life
In the darkness
Living in fear
Just waiting to die
See it al fits
Emptiness
Depression
No heart
Forever to myself
No lover
Nobody
Forever alone
Forever I’m full of
Emptiness

I share the same feelings of emptiness as well but i guess we have to fill in the emptiness ourselves and not depend on anyone else to do so for us. Otherwise, very well-written, simple yet explicitly expressing the depth of hollowness that one is feeling. (Report) Reply
