Empty Abyss Poem by Haiku Mitchell

Empty Abyss

Rating: 5.0

Here I am, lost in this perilous territory; The real of thought.
I wonder the dark depths of mind's eye; A cat prowling by the moon's sky.
Searching, for an absent memory; For what was not.
Oh, this stubborn mind! The curiosity that slaughtered the cat.
What would it have been; this tale untold of a life unlived in.
An unjust providence deined; At our fortold love it spat.
I am forever paind with your doom; For your nine came too soon.
In my heart, hisses all but hate; Instead, a destitution to understand this fate.
You, child, will never bloom; To the pain of unknown, I must become immune.
There is no satisfaction to rescue me; All I have is a quess.
For your absence I will cry; For our lost love I will shout, why?
Where ther should be laughter there is silence; Where there should be love,
there is an empty abyss...
Until we meet again, you I will always miss
