Empty Canvas Poem by JoAnn McGrath

Empty Canvas

Empty Canvas

The Salt Flats hold nothing
to the thoughts that tumbleweed
through my barren and vacant heart
Now lifeless and numb to it's surroundings
Once a canvas full of color and promise
Now so antiquated that the colors
have faded cracked and pealed
Leaving an empty canvas

Cracks can be mended and colours restored, the canvas lovingly is yours... Andy 10
