An empty desk, an empty chair
I remember when you sat there

But now you're gone and you're not there
Am I the only one who cares

I often wonder where you went to
I often think about you

I sometimes just sit and stare
At the empty desk and empty chair

So much has changed since you left
Not so much for the best

But I know I had no say
When they let you go that day

But I hope they always leave them there
Your empty desk and empty chair
