Empty Highway Poem by rosalinda flores rosevoc

Empty Highway

The empty highway is a rendezvous
Vast with stars
With Neon lights and sirens beeping
You, my spare tire
I remember your eyes seeing
My tears you were begging
Everything of you, naked to me -
My longing of you -
Your skin, your breath.
Your being
To catch my sobs.
