A slow phrase muttered under this empty stage
A life taken, a life saved
Slowly my words shaken and put inside this cage

I now stand bare on this empty stage
Emptying my thoughts onto this paper
Read before this crowd
They stare at the stage
Looking to hear inspiring words told
