A falling star from the sky
Twinkles down to the earth.
Falling freely into the water.
Slowly but suredly the water drips
Falling deep inside this lagoon.
Time slipping away,
As the steady stream of water drips down,
Slowly each one ticks away a lifetime,
A small piece of me flows into each drip,
Eventually taking with it my soul.
It seals away my pain in every drop.
Releasing me from this anguish.
A relief, I feel is only temporary,
I fall into this water slowly but suredly.
