Sneha Revanur
was just fifteen
when she founded
Encode Justice.
With her supporters
she defeated a bill
to replace cash bail with a
risk based algorithm.
She convinced the law-makers
that too much reliance on
Artificial Intelligence
has its greater pitfalls.
Now her team works for
a human-centred approach
in designing regulatory framework
and policy control in use of AI
Use of AI should have
governance structures
that diligently builds justice
into the regulation of AI.
AI should be designed
to align with human values,
meet human needs and
be accountable to human stakeholders.
‘Encode Justice' is a voluntary organisation registered in California, USA
