End - Poem by Kev Elmer

I now fear the worst,
I can almost see the hearse,
I know whats to become,
my life has become undone.
It's to late to errect,
a life that was once correct,
I've just done what I can,
and this is who I am.
Take it or leave it,
but you better believe it,
the end of me is here,
and I know longer fear.
So lay me to rest,
you know it's for the best,
now the end is upon me,
its so plain to see.
Now I shall depart,
forget me within your heart,
it's time for me to rise,
upwards towards the skies.
