A few of the rays that brightened the day
Fell on my face and diffused to my vein,
And reached to my heart and created a warmth
That stirred my soul, to look for your trace

But one of the rays that lost their trail
Wandered in the space and reached to a star
That glistened like your eye, moistened with tears
A drop of the tear twinkled for a while
The twinkle joined the rays that reached to earth
Hit my eyes to reach my heart and
Created a sense that shattered my existence

My soul joined the rays that lost their trail,
And carried to the star and dissolved in your tears.
