Beginning Of My Eternal Night Poem by Kaushik Khamrui

Beginning Of My Eternal Night

You didn't stay longer to see the moon cry,
A few molten drops wanted to plunge on the lids of your closened eye.
Waiting for a while, those shattered on the floor!
The splatters drenched me - like tsunami on a shore,
You faded in the dark, and left no trail.
The sun appeared slowly, but my night turned eternal!

Welcome to Poem Hunter, Kaushik! This seems to be the first poem you have posted on this site. Looking forward to reading more of your poems in the future. The rhyme is perfect in the first four lines, but then the last two lines don't really rhyme. Still, a nice effort for a first poem. Write more!
