End Of Summer Once Again Poem by Marilyn Lott

End Of Summer Once Again

It's coming to the end of summer
I'm not ready for it yet
I still want to see my flowers
Just as many as I can get.

The flowery trees are in bloom
Yes, they are starting to be less
But I don't want them to stop
With each beautiful colored dress.

My yellow roses are spectacular
Along with pink and red as well
My tiny buds give such promise
As they all began to swell.

But, we cannot slow down nature
Some will be able to endure
For another year they can bloom
It's the end of summer once more.
