Endless Nights Poem by Terry Searcy

Endless nights I'll lie awake all night because you are on my mind
I sit and i cry thinking how I was blind
You being gone really blows my mind

Your mommas run off and I'm all by myself
And I wish you were here because I just need to talk


I know you are fine being on the other side, i still talk to you all the time

Another day in the life
Another years gone by and i can't get you on the line

Ain't heard from your mom and my heart has died
Can't stand being here with this kind of life

One day I'll be fine knowing she is no longer mine
And push that aside and move on with my life
And when it's my time and i have to die I'll look for you on the other side

For now I will wait and see if she'll call back
And work on my life to try to get it back on track
