Enemies Aimed In Vain Poem by Ojeikpo Elijah

Enemies Aimed In Vain

Rating: 5.0

Enemies aimed in vain, their shots fall short
Their malice and hatred, a futile effort to thwart
For my heart is guarded, by love and light
Their arrows of bitterness, have no power to ignite

They plot and scheme, with malicious intent
But my spirit remains resilient, unbreakable and unbent
Their words may sting, their actions may hurt
But my resolve only grows stronger, in the face of their dirt

For love is my shield, and kindness my sword
Against their enmity, I am always on guard
They may try to bring me down, with their deceitful ways
But my faith and integrity, will guide me through the maze

Enemies aimed in vain, for I am stronger than they know
Their efforts may fail, but my spirit continues to glow
So let them try, let them aim their arrows in vain
For I am protected, by love's unshakable reign.
