England U.K. Poem by Joyce Hemsley

England U.K.

All nature calls from early dawn
In England in the spring
When tiny lambs demure are born
And United Kingdom choirs sing.

Such splendour shines in summertime
Emerald leaves adorn the trees.
Roses of beautiful colours bloom
Attracting the happy honeybees.

Days are cooler in the Fall
When late October comes to call.
God's wonderland of richest gold
Covers meadow, heath and wold.

As symphonic music echoes
Across the heather covered moors
Starlight softly glistens
Along those peaceful shores.

Years go by ~ and we shall pray
To thank the Lord above
For the gift of a wonderful kingdom
Uniting our hearts with love.
