Enjoy Dead Muse Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Neither can I digest bluff
Nor can openly laugh
Never in past had I witnessed such a lethargy
Now it is openly felt already

The comments are not posted regularly
No articles appear daily
I posted many poems
But not published as if no concern of them

I have written about site
That must fight
Highlight the issues of common men
And generate the feelings of humanity

I wish I could continue
And review
All poems of new and old poets
But nothing has worked

In past I tried to remain quiet
But as poet
And sentiments of readers
I could not utter a word

Now it is better to wind
And find
New branch
To sing and reach new readers

So I say “Good bye”
And request readers to try
And enjoy dead “muse”
To assess if they like and also to refuse
