Enlightenment Send Poem by soren Barrett

Enlightenment Send

It is a dead branch that breaks, those with life bend Bend
Taking from one's own mouth feeds two with joy Lend
In pain one discovers who one is Comprehend
In poverty one becomes rich Expend
A treasure must be lost to be found Condescend
In kneeling one is worshiped Descend
By facing fear one learns courage Transcend
With eyes of charity one sees clearly Amend
There is no gain without a cost Spend
The sun must die to be reborn Wend
