Enter My Dreams Poem by Mike Faulkner

Enter My Dreams

These dreams of mine, I can no longer stand.
Without you by my side comforting,
This endless ocean of thoughts.
Holding me tight and brushing the pain away,
Carressing my brittle heart,
And pumping blood back into my lifeless soul.

Kiss me awake and lay by side.
Pull me out of my mind and help me destroy these thoughts of mine.
Pull me out of my sorrow.
Kiss me once more and release my love to you.

Stand by me and together we can take on the world.
Pushing out all the pain the world has cast upon us.
Enter my dreams and fight with me,
Fight the darkness of my mind and rekindle the light of my soul.

Kiss me awake and lay by side.
Pull me out of my mind and help me destroy these thoughts of mine.
Pull me out of my sorrow.
Kiss me once more and release my love to you.
