Love Poem by Mike Faulkner

Love

Love,
Just a word,
Right?

Love,
Her eyes staring into,
Boring through you,
Into your soul.
Just a word,
Right,

Love,
Finding ways to control tou,
Destroyinf your thoughts,
Sinking her teeth into you,
Sucking the life out of you.
Just a word,
Right?

Love,
Throwing her arms around you,
Feeding you lies,
Making you believe her sound.
Just a word,
Right?

Love,
Dictating your life,
Detatching you from your life,
Dastancing your friends,
Controlling your mind,
Slowly shaping you into a mindless zombie.
Just a word,
Right?

Love,
Nothing,
No more,
She's done with you,
She tosses you away
Like a cigarette,
Used to feed ger addiction,
Once she's done,
She picks up another.
Just a word,
Right?

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This one was for an ex. Who pretty much treated me like shit. Cheated on me the whole we were together.... I'm happy I found someone who treats me right though.
