Entry Into The Lent Poem by Liza Sud

Entry Into The Lent

At midnight your six questions,
With exclamatory mark.
Maybe we'll rhyme together?
For our love just like that.

Maybe better with prayer
I will enter this lent.
Feelings flashed like a razor
I still see a burn there.

One should not repel fondness!
And I gave you embrace.
But God came in my soul,
Sweeping over the edge.

Will be lent - will be demons,
But you never feel fright,
A miraculous era,
When so close is God.

All Himself to accomplish
To the prise-ring He goes,
As for lents - I adore them.
It is heaven on earth.
