Suspicion too plays havoc with common man
A gentleman it transforms into a cruel demon.
Even an ambrosia for him becomes poison,
He regards even true friend as enemy no.1.
Treachery, betrayal too are inherent vices
Occupying a human beings inner premises.
These are the tools he uses to take revange
Against his enemies, to own ego's salvage.
These tools are similarly used too by nations.
The burning example was the Kargil intrusion,
Perpetrated by adversary as secret invasion,
A stab in the back, in friendships pretension.
Statesmanship was defeated then by treachery
Diplomacy was used to fool us by the adversary.
A great price we paid to teach him a lesson
In form of lives of jawans, who were slain.

Epic of life is filled with colours of life so rife, as this one depicts a few. Nicely penned.
