Eple Poem by Kevin Patrick

Eple

Rating: 5.0

Have an Apple
Behind the chapel
its a staple
from Old Naples
Where the Paple
Gets free Cable
And the maples
don't wear labels
On the table
Where green fables
Aren't so fatal
To the faithful
Who ate the apple
Behind the chapel

Here's a lemon
from out of heaven
One of the seven
Out near Devon
where boys name Kevin
play to eleven
in jam sessions
with girls called Bevin
who teach lessons
in blind obsessions
after confessions
that raise questions
from eating lemons
that come from heaven

Hope Spotify has that song...gonna check it out. Although it may appear as a silly homage, it's really quite profound. Great job, Friend Kevin!
