Ernesto Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Ernesto

Ernesto

Every time I hear
Every time I listen
Every time that air is
Filled with song of El Che
…………………………..
I recall how we sat
In the bar of your choice
I did so just for you
To respect your wish, will
Then beer, you ordered
I noticed
I noticed
I noticed
They whispered: 'disgrace…'

What about your mother?
What about your father?
Respected two fighters
And Juan, brother?
And your son?
Stolen…

I know time of rebels
Guevara…your parents
But rulers were the pawns
Gringo's, USA's, CIA's…

Ernesto
Ernesto
Ernesto

Once time was Ernesto's
Years later came other's.

Osama
Osama
Osama

I wish I was a worm;
Or a husk or a rock in a cave…
