Eschaton Poem by Mahathi Mydavolu

Eschaton

The broken blues are prowling on the roads.
The space has smears of earth. With deafening roars
the raising ocean billows traversed fjords
and opened wide in deserts, nether's doors.
The sleeping nukes are waiting for their dawn
of blazing thousand Suns and hungry hawks
are prying the earth and sea for rotting brawn.
The Earth is steeling too, for lethal shocks.
Adam almost finished the last apple
and Eve, still nude in spiralled serpent coils.
Jesus has crossed fingers, Budda is still
and Ram is searching for virtue in spoils.
The swords of faiths keep clash'ng, till someone won.
But wins no one... it's time for eschaton.
