Om Sri Hari Poem by Mahathi Mydavolu

Om Sri Hari

OM SRI HARI

How far is Vaikunta from Earth O Lord
How fast Lord Garuda can fly in sky
And bring you here to reach this mortal sward?
I wonder why so far you're not my nigh?

I praise and pray you Lord and sing your hymns.
I blindly trusted Lord that You'll save me
From pain that's stabbing me with thousand pins.
A fool I'm Lord I laud you still with glee!

Did you save Gajendra from crocodile
In time? Couldn't rescue Pandavas from long
Exile. As Ram you took eons to assail
That fiend as saints endured that demon's wrongs.

I'm just a human being-can't wait epochs
Come fast, lest Lord of death arrives and mocks.
