Ram, Ram, Ram Poem by Mahathi Mydavolu

Ram, Ram, Ram

I close my eyes and keep I chanting the names
Of Ram! So many oh so sweet, so sweet
While trying to visualize His mystic games,
His form, His frame, His smile and Him complete!

But mind is like a monkey sly that jumps
From bough to bough. It roams around the worlds
Aimlessly, stumbles and suddenly bumps
Accross some nasty thought, then stands sans words.

After sometime my chanting stops, and hear
I nothing but gibberish. I open eyes
And sob and sob for long but try to cheer
Myself and try aloud dulcetl and nice.

Bu lo again...oh how to stop these thoughts.
I heard 'First break those many desire pots.'
