Lost in a shadowy night
Forever wondering restlessly
Always looking for thee
Always trying to find me
There's a fire of desire
Burning in my soul
I just can't let go
I've been searching for so long
I must have gone blind
For now even though your here
It still feels like your gone
I love you so much
All the while I hate myself
I can't escape from me
I cause such pain
I see it, I know it, I feel it inside
I stand there watching me push you away
As I slowly fade more and more each day
I need you now more than I ever did
But try as you might
I can't seem to get free
I'm tangled within
My veins like spider webs
Holding me in this place
Let me go!
I want to sever all the threads
That make me be
Why can't I be happy?
I was so happy
So real, so alive
Now again this eternal pain inside
