Even If Poem by Adams King

Even If

Darling don't end this ride so soon
Take me deep into your world
Even if I'm only being fooled
Tell me those three little words

Let me dwell in your temporal bliss
Deceive me with lies if you must
Promise me even if you will break me
Give to me your imperfect love

That a lady was once loved and broken
Is better than never to have been loved
Would be glad I once had this spoken
That a man once called me his beloved

Hang your moon upon my night
Even if they won't last for long
Hold me close and tuck me tight
I dont care if this feelings are wrong

As long as love is felt and enjoyed
Romance me with a deceitful kiss
Even if all you seek are lustful pleasures
I will give to you the warmth you need

Even if my love you will leave tomorrow
At least lavish love on my path
Come to me with poetic lines borrowed
That touches a woman's inner heart
