Even If He Dies Poem by Wael Hazimeh

Even If He Dies

I've observed a star sacrifice its light for the moon to shine every night,
& silently dim behind while its arms reached to embrace out of sight,
The beautiful, through their reflections on the ocean so tight,
While the waves danced alongside its heartbeats, only to reunite.

Gaze into the surface and this is only where your feet will land.
Dive deep & you will discover the world he hides underneath.
How your words behind his back, grew silently into murdering knives.
You never knew what he'd to endure, to walk out of it with many lives.

The man who once turned to a ghost, after lost his heart in the march,
was only fighting his way to survive, even lost his words in the clash.
Forever he would break for you, even if the universe ends in your eyes.
His heart would always seek yours, anywhere, anytime, even if he dies.
