I've seen the moon in your presence burn in envy, into a red flame
And break into halves while melting & dripping in the sea of shame.
Your beauty shines brighter and enough to end its reign without a fight,
But eternity isn't ever enough for my eyes to track your enchanting light.

Every time I gaze into your eyes, I discover a world that knows no greed.
Every time I look deep, I lose myself in your world where I no more bleed.
Every time we kiss, the universe pauses & here I am alive while I burn.
Every time I close my eyes, here I dream, only to your arms I will return.

Listen to my heartbeats and you will know the feelings I contain inside.
But I am breaking silently apart, while every part is peeling away to hide.
My heart may not speak, but it yells for you with a love shouting aloud.
Breathing only for you...you are life I vowed to protect & can't live without.
