Evening Note 14 - Poem by Michael P. McParland
Sitting here watching a film
and organizing my kindle books.
All the while just thinking
about how much I want and need you here.
Just to have my lady near me
would fill me with joy
and be utter bliss.
Everything about the night then
would be perfection times ten.
Sitting here this evening
doing little things to stay busy,
wishing you here to
enjoy the movie and help me
in this tedious task of
categorizing the books in my kindle.
I love you and miss you
I so wish I could be right here with you.
I long so much to just hold you.
I'm sending you great big
hugs and kisses wrapping you
up in my loving warmth,
let it fill you with peace
my sweet Angel dove I so miss.
I'm always there with you
holding you close,
feel my hand in your hand
let it give you strength.
I love you so much my darling Kira
I hope you know how deeply it goes,
for you are the one I will always
cherish and love.
