Evening Note 25 - Poem by Michael P. McParland
Evening is here and it's
time to wind down from the day.
Reading, watching movies,
writing you poetry.
All of these things I will do
and the best one is dreaming of you.
Through writing and imagining
you're the main love interest
in the books that I read,
we both save each other because
you are strong too.
Watching movies so badly wishing
you were here to hold and
rest your head on my shoulder and chest.
I wish you were here to relax
with in this evening at hand.
I hope your day went well
and you were warmed by all the
love and sunshine I sent,
I was thinking and praying for you
sending millions of kisses too.
Did you feel me there by your
side hand in hand me squeezeing
you tight in pure love my only one?
I need you so much I am
filled with love I need to share.
Have the best of evenings
and I'll keep writing you more,
I love you sweet Angel and I miss
you so much most could never comprehend.
