Evening Note 83 - Poem by Michael P. McParland
Good evening my sweet Angel dove
and feel my caress on your cheek
as I push back your hair to deliver
this loving and passionate kiss to you.
I love you so much and have risen
from my very light rest and I thank you
for all of you kind, caring, loving
strength and warmth that you sent.
I was very restless at first
but I felt your arms wrap around me
with your soft kisses and nuzzles
and my body, spirit, and heart
relaxed enough for me to get
a light rest for awhile.
Thank you again my sweet love
and how I wish you were here
to join me for dinner here in a few minutes.
I want to just lean in close to
my Angel and eat then afterwards
snuggle on the couch as
we watched a movie you have picked out.
I so long to spend time
with you my sweet Queen so hear
my heart tonight as it sings out to you
saying Kira you are the greatest
and truly so cool.
I adore you my darling and I'll
forever stick by you my sweet dear.
I love you sweet lady and so wish
that we could just sit and talk,
read from our books, watch some movies,
and share sweet kisses while
listening to some audio books.
Kira you truly are such
a very special person and a supreme Angel
and I would give anything
to hold you and just rub your back
and stroke your hair as I
softly spoke giving you reassurance
that I'll stick by you forever and ever.
Be right there so you can look in my eyes
and see the deep wells of loves truth
and deep care I have for you.
I'll never leave you sweet Kira
and will stand by your side
forever and ever giving my love
and support endlessly while holding you close,
feel me beside you right now
as I take your hand.
I love you sweet lady
and promise I am right here for you
and will write through this evening
and let you know with a goodnight
when I go off to dreamland.
Kira you truly are so very amazing
and I want you to know
I love you and my heart
continually melts for you my gorgeous Angel.
