Evening Storm. Poem by Denis Barter

Evening Storm.

Rating: 4.8

(A Minute Poem.)

The moon was full, but dark the night!
The lack of light,
as night drew near,
gave cause for fear.

No breeze stirred, no sound was heard
from beast, or bird,
which explained,
why peace reigned.

But then skies were rent asunder,
as loud thunder
far and away,
ended our day!

Good train of thought, well articulated, nicely encapsulated and insightfully penned in lovely rhyme scheme. Thanks for sharing Denis. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
