Ever-Evolving Desire Poem by Saiful Sirnwel

Ever-Evolving Desire

Poetry is my birth love: a childhood in mother's lap, a face hidden in mother's chest.
Poetry is my open sky: unobstructed playground, a swimming in the river, a sanguine sad breeze, sometimes banyan shade, sometimes tired afternoon.

Poetry is my adolescence: the thrill of first love, the arrival of waves in the far chest, the touch of a cloud in a chill, tension of unknown emotion, a sleepless night.
Poetry is my youth: the inspirational song of liberation, the fierce bull of freedom.

Poetry is my birth dream: the sweat burning in my mart, the salty scent in my heart, the cry of a lonely night, a bunch of rose petals,
Poetry is my first God: the history of my first birth, the breath of peace inside my chest, a bunch of flying conch.

Poetry is my eternal nature: a call to love people, eternal rebellion against the oppressive rulers, the struggling revolution of thousands of people, a handful of food in the mouths of starving people.
Poetry is my revolutionary consciousness, my ever-evolving desire.
